Singer Idina Menzel has been known to pull audience members on stage during her concerts. This time she was in for an amazing surprise when the singer performed on a rendition of the track Let It Go, from Disney’s Frozen, at a concert in Texas. According to People.com, she invited a 11-year-old boy, Luke, and asked if he knew what song she was performing on. “Let It Go, obviously!” said the boy, to the laughter and cheers of the crowd.
The singer went on to explain that during her World Tour, “Every time a boy comes up, he tells me he doesn’t really like this song.” Recalling one such incident, she shared that a young man once even said that he preferred Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop the Feeling! from the film Trolls. A laughing Menzel then handed the microphone to Luke and requested him to sing the chorus of the track Let It Go. However, he blew the audience away as he sang the track. Menzel, impressed, even requested an encore, since the audience’s cheers drowned out part of his performance. “Can you all just shut up for a minute and let him sing it again?” she asked, adding, “I can’t sing like that!”
