Los Angeles: 'Suicide Squad' helmer David Ayer has revealed that Zack Snyder, who executive produced the the DC anti-hero movie, also sat behind the lens for one of its scenes.

Ayer said the " 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' helmer directed the scene where Ezra Miller's The Flash appears in a flashback sequence alongside Jai Courtney's Captain Boomerang, reported Aceshowbiz.

The Flash appears in a flashback sequence where he stops a bank robbery thwarted by Jai Courtney's Captain Boomerang. Ayer said that the scene was always in the movie, but filmed in London.

"Flash was always in the movie, we just got lucky because 'Justice League' was happening and they had the uniform, they had the assets, so we were able to get that photography."

Snyder, 50, is currently still filming 'Justice League', which is set to be released on November 17, 2017 in US theatres.

Starring Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Miller and Ray Fisher as the titular heroes, the movie centres around Bruce Wayne, who enlists the help of his new-found ally, Diana Prince, to face the enemy.
