According to sources close to TheSun.co.uk, Belafonte was reportedly not happy with Mel’s flirtatious friendship with Cheryl during their appearance on The X Factor. He was outraged when Mel playfully grabbed Cheryl’s bottom. “He liked to be in total control of everything. He was deeply uncomfortable with Mel flirting with Cheryl because it didn’t involve him,” the source said.
