Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are back in the news, and this time it’s because Heard feels that Depp is trying to get back at her by delaying their divorce proceedings. This comes shortly after Depp accused Heard of trying to “get her 15 minutes of fame” by seeking more settlement money.
The actress, who had accused the Sleepy Hollow star of domestic violence req-uested for a speedy resolution to the divorce so that she could move on with her life, reported Dailymail.co.uk.
The court documents filed by Heard’s attorney, Pierce, read, “Johnny seems to wish to prolong this proceeding as a means of punishing me. I want my life back. I want to be divorced from Johnny now.”
Heard’s lawyer also asked for ending the marriage promptly while he alleged that Depp “frustrated the final settlement of this matter at every turn through his relentless, mean-spirited campaign against Heard”.
