Jessica Alba sues toy company
Alba's company wants Jakks to stop using the Honestly Cute' tag and is going after damages.
Jessica Alba’s Honest Company is suing a toy company for ripping off its brand name and pattern, according to TMZ.com. The actress’ company claims Jakks Pacific started making toys and strollers under the name ‘Honestly Cute’ in an attempt to make customers think that the products are associated with her Honest Company.
A floral design on the packaging of Jakks Pacific is also way too similar to Honest Company’s design. Alba’s company wants Jakks to stop using the ‘Honestly Cute’ tag and is going after damages. Jakks Pacific has not responded to the lawsuit.
