Level Up songstress Ciara admits that she was gutted after her split with 35-year-old rapper fiancé, Future, with whom she has a child named Future Zahir.
“I’d have moments when I would be crying because I was not in the happiest place, and it really hurt,” she told E! Online.
The two musicians parted ways nearly five years ago after rumours of Future cheating on Ciara emerged. While the 33-year-old star has since moved on with Russell Wilson, whom she married in 2016 and has a daughter Sienna Princess Wilson with, Ciara still remembers the pain she felt after her breakup.

“I grew up with my mom and dad being together, and then all of a sudden you’re living your life in front of the world,” explains the singer, who felt like she was failing as a single mom. However, she consciously decided to not waste her life and moved on. “You realise that time does not stop and it would be terrible to stay in a situation that is just not healthy,” she says, revealing that Russell brought calm and peace into her life. Not just that, Ciara adds that she wants “at least two more” kids with him.
