The graduating class of 2018 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland were in for a pleasant surprise when comedian Jimmy Fallon dropped in to commence the graduating speech. The comedian brought out his serious side and gave a heartfelt speech following the Parkland Shooting massacre earlier this year. The shooting left 17 people including students, teachers and school staffers dead at the hands of Nikolas Cruz, the gunman.
According to reports in EOnline.com, Fallon honoured the the students who spearheaded the March for Our Lives rally and had a couple of jokes lined up for the graduating high schoolers. “You won’t be classmates anymore. You’ll be adults who Facebook search each other at 2 in the morning for the next 10 years,” he said.
