John Lennon’s piano goes under hammer

An online auctioning website has put up the piano for auction.

Legendary artist John Lennon’s iconic piano will be up for auction and is expected to fetch some jaw dropping moolah.

An online auctioning website has put up the piano for auction. This is the same piano which Lennon worked on to make Beatles’ eighth album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

According to tmz.com, the auction is expected to fetch $1.2 million (Rs 8,29,05,000) and upward. This piano has a history in itself. This is the same piano Lennon stored and used at his famous Kenwood house on St. George’s Hill estate in Weybridge, England.

It is made by a company, whose previous customers include Mozart and Beethovan.
