Demi gets called out over 21 Savage's ice issue

He faces a possibility of deportation.

Popstar Demi Lovato has reportedly pulled down her Twitter account amid major backlash as she joked about rapper 21 Savage’s ICE controversy, reports EOnline.com. The singer put up a tweet that read, “So far 21 savage memes have been my favorite part of the Super Bowl (sic).” For the uninitiated, Grammy nominee 21 Savage was arrested on Sunday morning by United States ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) for reportedly overstaying his visa. He faces a possibility of deportation.

He was reportedly born on the island of Dominica, which was a British colony. Migos’ Offset was one of the first celebrities to call out Lovato, tweeting, “ALL THE MEMES AND S**T AINT FUNNY WHEN SOMEBODY GOING THROUGH SOME. PRAYING FOR MY DAWG AINT S**T FUNNY HIS FANILY DEPENDING ON HIM (sic).” The 26-year-old singer tried clarifying herself and tweeted, “If you’re gonna come at me for making a joke, try coming at me with some original not involving drugs (sic).” Lovato followed up another tweet hinting at her twitter hiatus, “F**k Twitter. This is why I don’t tweet anymore (sic).”
