The pregnant film actress and the comedian showed their support by attending a ‘Rally for Abortion Justice’ event on Saturday. Later, Amy posted a photo on her Instagram of the two holding posters at the Women’s March and Planned Parenthood-supported rally.
“I don’t have a uterus and she is pregnant but we out here @womensmarch @plannedparenthood rallyforabortionjustice [sic],” Schumer captioned her photo. The photo shows Jennifer’s baby bump on display in her check dress as she and Amy hold a poster each.
The day before, Amy had written, “Everyone deserves to have a safe and supported abortion, at any time and for any reason. This Saturday, we are coming together across the country to defend our rights.”
The comedian had revealed last month that she’d both her uterus and appendix removed due to endometriosis. Jennifer is currently expecting her first child with her husband Cooke Maroney.
