Actress and supermodel Tyra Banks has split from her boyfriend Erick Asla, but there’s no bad blood between the two, according to DailyMail.co.uk. The couple, who have been together for five years still continue to co-parent their 21-month-old son, York.
A source told Page Six about the former couple, “It came drama-free and they’re co-parenting their young son,” and adds that the model and the photographer will also continue to work together professionally. “He (Erick) is slated to shoot the photos for the opening credits of the upcoming America’s Next Top Model.” Erick has agreed to move out of the family home.
The split comes a year after the news that the couple had been struggling to keep their relationship in tact following York’s birth who Tyra had through a surrogate.
