According to a new lawsuit filed by a photographer, 50 Cent apparently stole photos from him and published them on his social media accounts to promote himself and one of his products.
Christopher Pasatieri, who claims to be a professional photographer, says he photographed 50 Cent and some of his shots ended up on the rapper’s Instagram page, each generating over 42,000 likes.
In documents obtained by TMZ.com, Pasatieri submitted a screen shot of the IG posts that shows the rapper promoting his SMS Audio headphones and TV show, Power. According to the lawsuit, 50 cent never licensed the photos or asked for permission to post them online.
The photographer doesn’t mention when he shot 50, but it appears to be from a concert in June 2014 at Citi Field where he performed with G-Unit, which is also being sued. Pasatieri is suing for damages.
