According to TMZ.com, LuMee pointed out that they first sued Snap Light in November 2016.

Kim Kardashian’s company was slapped with a $100 million lawsuit for endorsing the smartphone case LuMee. Snap Light claimed that they first created the case. Now, the reality TV personality and LuMee are saying that they have government proof which supports their claim that they did not copy Snap Light’s technology.
According to TMZ.com, LuMee pointed out that they first sued Snap Light in November 2016. LuMee is even claiming that they are the one’s getting ripped off. In documents obtained by the website, the US Patent and Trademark Office approved LuMee, which means there are differences between the two products. However, Snaplight is ready to fight back.
