Amy Schumer criticised for racist' joke

Comedian Amy Schumer has been on the receiving end of backlash after she tweeted a joke that was deemed racist and stereotypical. Tweeting a photo of herself in between two musicians holding a clarinet and a saxophone each, she wrote, “A Jew with horns,” and replied to it a few minutes later saying, “My bad. I meant to say, ‘A Jew with two horns’.”

According to DailyMail.co.uk, users have called her out on Twitter, replying, “This is a disgusting attempt at humour. It’s like making a slavery joke. Tasteless and unfunny,” while another said that people would be “highly offended” by tweet.
