Between Netflix, Amazon and good ol’ HBO, there are a seemingly endless number of television series on the air. And behind every wildly popular series are some wildly popular actors and actresses. The per-episode salary estimates for some of television’s most popular stars have been revealed for 2017, and the numbers are shocking. The most notable Game of Thrones stars are pulling in a cool half-million per episode, according to Variety.
And the Rock? He’s making $650,000 per episode of Ballers, which airs on Star World Premiere HD in India. He plays a retired football superstar re-inventing himself as a financial adviser in the show. That makes him one of TVs highest-paid comedy players. The only stars out-earning him are the original five cast members of CBS’s The Big Bang Theory, who earn an estimated $900,000 per episode.
