Several sources familiar with the circumstances surrounding the DJ’s death confirmed that he did indeed take his own life, something that his family hinted at last week. They say that the method of death was a shard of glass that caused massive bleeding.
Allegedly, Avicii broke a bottle and used the glass to inflict the fatal wound. One of the sources says it was a wine bottle.
While one source says that the point of injury was Avicii’s neck, another source vehemently denies it, saying it was the wrist. While TMZ.com has not been able to confirm this, it says that the sources were privy to specific information about Avicii’s death.
