He was left crushed when Zayn Malik pulled out of an appearance on The Graham Norton Show earlier this year, destroying their chance of meeting.
But Ryan Reynolds showed he hadn’t given up on his dream of seeing the star at a later date as they playfully bantered back and forth in a cheeky Twitter exchange on Friday.
Kicking off the conversation, the former One Direction star caught Ryan’s attention as he tweeted writing, “Just seen Deadpool for the second time, f**king love this s**t !!”.
Responding to the praise, Ryan immediately asked the star if he had any intentions of seeing the superhero movie again as he joked that he would go along to meet him. “If you’re gonna see Deadpool a 3rd time, let me know when and where. Not asking for me. For my twin brother, Donald,” he teased.
But Zayn seemed more than happy to oblige as he quipped “only if I can borrow your costume,” in response.
