Amy Winehouse's father claims, singer's ghost visits him
Mumbai: British singer Amy Winehouse's father Mitch has recently revealed that his daughter's spirit often visits him in the form of a bird.
The revelation of sorts has come more than six years after Winehouse's death.
According to Mitch, the ghost of his late daughter, who died due to alcohol poisoning at the age of 27, comes and sits on the end of his bed.
"After three years, I was thinking maybe that one day she will come back in some shape or form, and she does come back - not physically, but spiritually - all the time," said Mitch, reports news.com.au.
"Her spirit comes and sits on the end of my bed. She just sits there and it looks just like her with her beautiful face and she looks at me. I say to her, 'Are you all right?' because I get nervous with her being there," he added.
Mitch also claimed that the 'Back to Black' hit-maker visits him and his wife Jane in the form of a bird that looks just like the one Amy had tattooed on her arm.
Mitch has founded the Amy Winehouse Foundation to support young people struggling with drug and alcohol issues.
