Actor Halle Berry has revealed that she rejected a role in the film, which eventually went to actress Sandra Bullock and changed things for the latter.
Berry was offered the lead role in the film Speed. However, after she rejected, the movie went to Sandra and cemented her place in the film industry.
“I don’t know if you know this, but I was offered Speed before Sandra Bullock,” she says and goes on to add, “I stupidly said no. But in my defense, when I read the
script the bus didn't leave the parking lot.” Halle does seem to have afterthoughts every time she sees the movie.
When the film went on to become a blockbuster, Halle’s reaction was funny. “I was like no, no, no, no. Then I see the movie and I’m like, arrrrghh,” she explained in an animated manner.
