Professor Green slams Honey G

Honey G, a female rapper who is currently taking part in the reality singing competition The X Factor, was slammed by British rapper Professor Green after he himself performed on the show. Speaking with hosts Rylan and Matt Edmondson, Green said, “I don’t feel she should be in the competition. I feel like she’s taking the right mickey out of rap and I feel like it’s a bit of an injustice. It’s an entertainment show but music is at the core of it, come on.” Honey has divided audiences for the latest season of the show, with some rooting for the 32-year-old saying she’s breaking stereotypes — rappers such as 50 Cent have backed her — while others say it’s just a gimmick.
