The LA County Medical Examiner (ME) just confirmed that the late Cameron Boyce had indeed suffered a sudden, unexpected death caused by epilepsy. While that ascertained what was already known, the ME went on to state that the late Disney superstar didn’t have any drugs or alcohol in his system, except for Keppra, a medication for epilepsy.
As per reports in TMZ, Cameron’s official cause of death on his death certificate was deferred until the ME’s office completed its investigation.
The ME’s report says the 20-year-old had developed non-traumatic epilepsy about three years ago, which had become “several major seizures” over the years, occurring months apart. Cameron, who had achieved a lot of acting success in TV and movies, suffered the fatal seizure on July 6 and died in his sleep.
