Pink’s memory of miscarriage at 17

The singer, who is now a proud mother of eight-year-old daughter Willow and three-year-old son Jameson, went through a lot post the first incident.

Singer Pink has revealed that she had to go through a miscarriage when she was only 17-year-old and was going to have that baby.

The singer spoke about her life inspiring her recent album and how a one track Happy was about the struggles she faced with her body. The lyrics of the song are, Since I was 17, I’ve always hated my body / and it feels like my body’s hated me.”

Pink, 39, told USA Today, “The reason I said [that] is because I’ve always had this very tomboy, very strong gymnast body, but actually at 17 I had a miscarriage. And I was going to have that child. But when that happens to a woman or a young girl, you feel like your body hates you and like your body is broken, and it's not doing what it’s supposed to do.”

“I’ve had several miscarriages since, so I think it's important to talk about what you're ashamed of, who you really are.... I’ve always written that way,” she said.
