Will.I.Am, who’s a judge on the reality singing TV competition The Voice, had an embarrassing night on air with the musician accidentally showing interest in a contestant by pressing his “chair choice” button by mistake.
The show involves a round of blind auditions, where singers perform on stage with the four celebrity judges’ backs turned towards them. If the judges like what they hear they push the “chair choice” and turn around to face them.
While Will.I.Am’s gaffe was accidental, he was saved from creating an awkward scene thanks to co-judge Ricky Wilson genuinely hitting the button.
