Mumbai witnessed a historic musical moment on May 17, 2025, as legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses set the stage ablaze with an unforgettable performance at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse. Returning to India after 13 years, the band delivered a night full of energy, nostalgia, and timeless rock anthems that thrilled fans from across the country.

The evening kicked off with a power-packed opening act by Indian rock band Girish and the Chronicles, setting the mood for what was to come. As the clock struck 6:45 PM, the roar of the crowd reached a crescendo when Guns N’ Roses took the stage. Fans were treated to classics like “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” “Welcome to the Jungle,” and “November Rain,” performed by the iconic trio—Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan who proved yet again why they are considered legends in the world of rock.
This concert was part of the band’s global tour, Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things, which began in South Korea and will wrap up in Germany. It also marked the Indian debut of drummer Isaac Carpenter, bringing fresh energy to the group’s dynamic lineup.
