DQ called the situation "gut-wrenching" for young people facing uncertainty in education and urging empathy, dialogue, and peaceful resolution. Tovino Thomas, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Revathi and others expressed solidarity via social media or events. Chinmayi Sripaada showed public support and reacted to related developments. They have joined Bollywood celebs such as Salman Khan.
