Director Krish Confirms Ghaati Postponement, Calls It a Mountain Echo
Citing pending VFX work, the Anushka–Vikram Prabhu starrer has been delayed, with Krish promising a richer cinematic experience

The much-anticipated film Ghaati, starring Anushka Shetty and Vikram Prabhu, and directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, will no longer hit screens on July 11 as initially planned. The makers have confirmed a postponement, attributing the delay to incomplete high-quality VFX work still underway in post-production.
Addressing fans, director Krish shared a poetic and emotional statement:
"Ghaati is not just a film; it’s a mountain echo, a wild breeze, a story carved from stone and soil. To honour every frame, every breath, we’ve chosen to hold its flight a little longer. We believe the wait will be worth it — richer, deeper, and unforgettable."
Despite the delay, anticipation remains high. Early glimpses of the leads and the first single have already created buzz, with the latter emerging as a chart-topping hit.
Produced on a grand scale by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi and presented by UV Creations, Ghaati promises a visually rich, emotionally resonant experience. A fresh round of promotions is expected to roll out once post-production is complete.
