Ibrahim Ali Khan Gets His First Big Theatrical Release Too
Sreeleela was originally expected to make her debut opposite Kartik Aaryan in Anurag Basu’s untitled romantic drama. However, despite the team insisting that everything is under control, the film continues to face delays and is nowhere close to completion.
“The first look was unveiled in February 2025, and the film was planned for a Christmas release. But Saiyaara set a new benchmark for romantic dramas, and the makers didn’t want another intense love story arriving too soon. The underperformance of Kartik’s Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri further complicated matters. With Kartik now busy shooting Nagzilla, Basu’s film remains in limbo,” reveals a source.
Diler also marks an important milestone for Ibrahim Ali Khan. Following his first two releases, Nadaaniyan and Sarzameen, this film is expected to be his first major theatrical release.
“The plan is to release Diler during the Diwali weekend, but the makers are keeping the exact date under wraps for now,” the source adds.
