Tollywood Producer Dil Raju expressed his support for Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s commendable move to make food and beverages in cinema halls more affordable and accessible to all sections of the audience. “This is a welcome step toward attracting the average moviegoer back to theaters. Let us all support this initiative and move forward together,” he added.
He also addressed the growing concern of films shifting rapidly to OTT platforms, emphasizing the need for a collective industry decision on the minimum theatrical window. “We have a shared responsibility to rekindle the audience’s love for watching films on the silver screen in a meaningful way,” he said.

He further mentioned that piracy remains a major threat to theatrical revenues. “Only if we fight piracy together can we truly bring audiences back to the cinemas,” he concluded.
"Additionally, we will consult with the Telangana government on the issues raised by the Andhra Pradesh government, and the Producers Council will actively contribute to the overall development and betterment of Telugu cinema," He added.
