Dhruv Vikram To Play Dupe Fighter In Upcoming Film Titled Jackie?

The trailer of Dhruv Vikram's upcoming film Jackie will be launched today, September 18, at 4:05 PM.

As per sources, the trailer introduces Dhruv in a never-seen-before avatar as a 'dupe fighter' - someone who performs dangerous action sequences in place of the hero. His character enters the story with that identity and takes on challenging fights.

In a self-referential and humorous twist, his character in Jackie claims to be the dupe for his own film Bison. Since Dhruv is playing the hero in Bison, the dialogue becomes a fun take on his own image, making the trailer unusual and entertaining.

Directed by Karan Arvind Kumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Jackie is billed as an out-and-out commercial entertainer with the tagline "No Retakes Allowed." The first look, unveiled on Sunday, featured Dhruv in an intense action avatar.

The film marks Dhruv's fourth film and Mythri Movie Makers' fourth Tamil production. Satvika plays the female lead. Santhosh Narayanan is composing the music, marking his second collaboration with Dhruv after Mahaan. The technical team includes cinematographer Viki and editor J Suriya.
