Deepika was reportedly slated to play the female lead in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film with Prabhas, Spirit, but she exited the project due to concerns over working hours and other differences.
On Thursday, Ajay Devgn was asked about work-life balance, a point over which Deepika had allegedly exited Spirit.
According to Hindustan Times, Ajay responded by saying, "It's not that it's not going down well with people. Most honest filmmakers will not have problems with it. And apart from this, being a mother and working for eight hours, most people have started working eight-nine hour shifts."
The other day, Sandeep Reddy Vanga announced Triptii Dimri as the leading lady in Prabhas’ Spirit, replacing Deepika. So far, Deepika hasn’t spoken anything about the ongoing controversy.
