Dasari Film Awards 2025: Varalaxmi Sarathkumar's Sabari bags Best Story Film award

Sabari, starring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead role, was released in theatres in 2024. It told the story of a single mother who is aghast after learning something mysterious about her child.

Helmed by Anil Katz, it co-starred Ganesh Venkatraman, Shashank, Mime Gopi, and Baby Krithika.

The news is that Sabari has won the Best Story Film award at the Dasari Film Awards 2025. Producer Mahendra Nath Kondla, who is an NRI, is elated that his maiden production has received due recognition.

Sabari, which is a touching story about a mother trying hard to protect her child while grappling with her own circumstances, was rich in strong emotions. The audience appreciated it for how well the mother's struggles were shown, and her brave fight alone impressed the Dasari Film Awards jury.
