Chiranjeevi To Team Up With Priyamani?

After romancing star actress Nayanthara in Mana Sankara Varaprasad Garu, Megastar Chiranjeevi is likely to share screen space with Priyamani in his upcoming 158th film, which will be directed by Bobby (KS Ravindra).
According to a source, Priyamani is one of the strong contenders for the female lead role. “Discussions are currently underway, but nothing has been finalised yet,” a source revealed.
Priyamani has significantly expanded her reach in recent years with the popular Hindi web series The Family Man, which earned her widespread recognition among Hindi-speaking audiences across the globe. She also starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the blockbuster Jawan, receiving praise for her performance.
Chiranjeevi has, in recent years, preferred to work with age-appropriate and mature actresses, steering clear of pairing with much younger heroines. He has previously shared screen space with Tamannaah (Bhola Shankar) and Kajal Aggarwal (Khaidi No. 150). “Mature actresses help avoid the age-gap factor and look more convincing on screen alongside him,” the source added.
The megastar is currently working with Trisha in his upcoming film Vishwambhara, which is slated for a summer release.
Meanwhile, Priyamani made a strong mark in Tollywood earlier in her career, acting alongside leading stars such as Jr NTR (Yamadonga), Balakrishna (Mitrudu), Nagarjuna (Ragada), and others including Tarun, Nithiin, and Jagapathi Babu. If this collaboration materialises, it could mark a significant comeback of sorts for the actress in mainstream Telugu cinema.
