Chiranjeevi Intervenes to Resolve Tollywood's Producer-Worker Dispute

Veteran producer and former president of Telugu film chamber of commerce, C Kalyan told Deccan Chronicle that they're thankful to megastar Chiranjeevi for trying to resolve the stalemate in Tollywood. "Despite being busy with his films, he has spared some time to resolve issues between producers and cine workers. We are truly thankful, to him," says C Kalyan after meeting Chiranjeevi along with small producers. "We met him today since he has been keeping track of our issues every day and trying hard to resolve the issue,"he adds.
He claimed that small and medium budget producers are suffering a lot. "Telugu Film Chamber President Bharat Bushan is also working hard to resolve the issue. I explained the practical issues involved basing on my experience. The wages for workers in Hydrabad are higher in comparison to other states. Megastar is a respected and revered person in the industry and both sides are hopeful that he would do justice. Some issue are relatively smaller and could be addressed. There is a just a need to convince the workers" he added.
Elaborating further, C.Kalyan said ' One cannot work in films as per the Labour Commission rules because the are quite stringent. We used to work as one family since long-time. I am confident that the issue will be solved soon."
On other hand, members of Telugu film industry employees federation are going to meet Chiranjeevi in Monday at 11 am. "Federation members are meeting Chiranjeevi tommorow and we are hopeful of early resolution with the guidance of Chiranjeevi, "concludes Kalyan.
