Chaitanya Rao in Sreeyas Chitra’s Production No. 5
Film launched on Dussehra with pooja ceremony; newcomers Ira and Sakhi join the cast

Actor Chaitanya Rao Madadi is set to lead Kranthi Madhav’s next film, titled Production No. 5, alongside newcomers Ira and Sakhi. The project, produced by Purna Naidu and Srikanth V under the banners of Sreeyas Chitra and Purna Naidu Production, was formally launched on Friday with a traditional pooja ceremony to mark Dussehra.
Director Kranthi Madhav, known for his heartfelt films Onamalu, Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, and World Famous Lover, said the film will explore a youthful love story with emotional depth. He added, “This is my fifth film and second with Chaitanya. Ira is making her Telugu debut, while Sakhi, known for Bengali serials, is entering the Telugu industry. We are planning to shoot on a grand scale in scenic locations.”
The launch event saw filmmaker Deva Katta giving the inaugural clap for the first shot, KL Damodar Prasad switching on the camera, and Vara Mullapudi directing the first scene as guest of honor.
Chaitanya Rao said, “I’m thrilled to work with Kranthi Madhav again after our previous association. This is a new-age love story, and I was instantly drawn to the narrative. I aim to bring something unique for the audience.”
Producer Purna Naidu shared, “I’ve always admired Kranthi’s storytelling, and finally the timing worked for us to collaborate. Srikanth has been a partner in all my projects, including this one. More details about the film will be shared soon.”
Actress Ira, making her Telugu debut, expressed excitement about joining the project. “I’ve always wanted to work in Telugu cinema, and Kranthi sir’s story was irresistible. I’m looking forward to working with Chaitanya and grateful to the team for this opportunity,” she said.
The film marks a fresh collaboration between Kranthi Madhav and Chaitanya Rao, promising a blend of romance and emotionally engaging storytelling for Telugu audiences.
