Border 2 Records Explosive Openings at Box Office

The epic action war drama Border 2 has stormed the Indian box office, crossing even Dhurandhar. The sequel’s Day 1 performance has also managed to match the record-breaking start of 2025’s biggest opener, Chhaava.
Mass belts have been on a rampage. Single-screen cinemas across these regions reported superb occupancy levels since the morning shows on Friday. The urban centers and multiplexes saw a more measured start. As per trade reports, heavy rainfall in various circuits hindered movement and impacted theatre attendance. Despite this, the collections are awesome. According to reliable reports, Border 2 earned Rs 32.10 crore nett at the India box office on its first Friday.
With the momentum from Friday, the numbers are expected to see a substantial jump over Saturday and Sunday. Monday being a Republic Day holiday, expect humongous collections over the extended weekend.
