Bomb Scare At Vijay's Residence Declared A Hoax After Police Sweep
A bomb threat was made against the residence of popular Tamil actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay, located in Neelankarai on East Coast Road (ECR), Chennai.
A bomb threat was made against the residence of popular Tamil actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay, located in Neelankarai on East Coast Road (ECR), Chennai.
The threat was received via a phone call to the Chennai Police Control Room at around 5:20 a.m., claiming a bomb had been planted at Vijay’s home.
Police responded promptly by deploying three bomb squad members and a sniffer dog to search the premises. After an hour-long inspection, no explosives were found, and the threat was declared a hoax.
The Neelankarai Police have registered a case, and an investigation is ongoing to identify the caller.
On the film front, Thalapathy Vijay is currently doing Jana Nayagan, whose first glimpse was released recently. The action entertainer will be released in theatres on January 9, 2026. Pooja Hegde is its heroine.
