T-Series Secures Ramayana Audio Rights for Record Rs 75 Crore

T-Series has bought the audio rights for both parts of the film for a whopping Rs 75 crore.

Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming mythological film Ramayana has generated immense excitement among fans and audiences nationwide. It remains one of the most anticipated movies in Indian cinema. According to reports, the project has secured one of the highest music deals in Indian film history.

T-Series has bought the audio rights for both parts of the film for a whopping Rs 75 crore. This represents a monumental deal for any Indian music company.

The soundtrack marks a historic collaboration, as Oscar-winning composers A. R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer are teaming up for the first time to create the music. It's said that Rahman was paid Rs 30 crore as remuneration, while Zimmer got paid Rs 70 crore.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, the film is inspired by the ancient epic. It follows the journey of Prince Rama from his life in Ayodhya and his exile to his epic battle against Ravana.

The movie features an ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol. Ramayana Part 1 is scheduled for a grand theatrical release during Diwali 2026. The second part is expected to hit screens during Diwali 2027. Fans can also look forward to the official trailer dropping on July 30, 2026.
