After Simmba’s successful release, the actor is back to work. Post his last round of publicity on Saturday, Ranveer was spotted at a dubbing studio for the Zoya Akhtar directorial Gully Boy.
Sporting a pink sweatshirt the actor looked visibly tired after a long day’s work. However, it is to be seen how well a film rooted in Mumbai’s bylanes does at the box office when it hits the screens on Valentine’s Day.
“Ranveer’s energy levels are above par. He worked all day at the promotions and then returned to the dubbing studio to complete his work. He is playing a rapper in the film, which rather comes naturally to him because he has been rapping for a few years now. Ostensibly he was the first choice for the film as well for Zoya because he is
the only actor in Bollywood who is also a rapper. But after Simmba, it will be tough for him to emulate the act in a different film which is not really a masala entertainer,” says a trade source. Raazi actress, Alia Bhatt, plays the female protagonist in the film.
