Rishi Kapoor is not one to mince words, especially when he has a point to make. The actor has often received criticism, as well as applause for his demeanour on his social media account.
Having taken up a challenge, Rishi had gone all out on Twitter to defend his niece Kareena Kapoor Khan and her husband, Saif Ali Khan’s decision to name their baby Taimur Ali Khan. He received a huge amount of troll tweets and comments from critics, who weren’t too amused by the choice of name, leading to Rishi blocking abusive accounts by the dozen.
And it looks like the actor isn’t done just yet. In the latest turn of events, the actor raked the story of popular former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes’ decision to name his daughter India. Even while he didn’t allude to Taimur directly, Rishi wrote, “Only parents have the right to name their kids whatever.”
However, the comparison didn’t go down too well with the already polarised Twitterati, who went on to slam the actor yet again. It remains to be seen if Rishi reacts to the backlash, or stays mum.
