Salman Khan calls Shah Rukh Khan \'hero\'; shares appreciation post for this reason
Mumbai: After Shah Rukh Khan saved Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s manager Archana Sadanand at Amitabh Bachchan’s Diwali party, best friend Salman Khan was all praises for King Khan.
Indeed! The Badshah of Bollywood became a knight in shining armor and attracted praise and love from everyone.
Salman took to Instagram and tagged SRK in a post, where he was all praises for his bravery. Interestingly the video clip is from the film Happy New Year in which he is showing off his six-pack abs, as flames burn his black shirt, but he walks with a smile. Salman is seen giving a voiceover in the backdrop which says, “Hero woh hota hai jo aag mein kood kar, use bujha kar, jaan bachata hai (Hero is someone who jumps into fire, puts it out, saves a life).”
For the unversed, Archana is a Bollywood publicist and Aishwarya Rai's manager. Her lehenga caught fire due to a diya (wick lamp).
She suffered 15 per cent burn injuries whereas Shah Rukh also suffered some minor injuries. He was quick to act on the spot and save Archana.
She is currently recovering from her wounds and is in the ICU to avoid any infection.
The incident happened around 3 AM when Archana was in the courtyard of Jalsa with her daughter. Apart from Shah Rukh, the party was attended by wife Gauri Khan. Others in the list were Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Parineeti Chopra, Akshay Kumar and Shahid Kapoor and many more.
