Watch: Teaser of web series adaptation of Shah Rukh Khan's Darr

Mumbai: Yash Chopra’s ‘Darr’, one of Shah Rukh Khan’s first few films, is all set to make a comeback. Yash Raj films’ youth wing Y-Films is coming up with a five-episode web series based on the popular love triangle.

Shah Rukh had announced his arrival to the big league when three of his negative roles, in ‘Baazigar’, ‘Darr’, and 'Anjaam' were acclaimed.

‘Darr’ saw Shah Rukh's character obsessed with Juhi Chawla’s character, and wrecks havoc in her relationship with Sunny Deol’s character.

While ‘Darr’ was about ‘pure love’, ‘Darr 2.0’, will be adapted according to the current age of social media, where cyber crimes are rampant and sexual obsession will also be one of the angles . The web series will be incomplete without Shah Rukh’s trademark dialogue ‘I love you K..K…K… Kiran’ and obviously makes its way to this teaser.

Incidentally, another remake to 'Darr' is reportedly in the pipeline, a film starring Priya Banerjee and Karanvir Bohra.
