No one took Randeep Hooda seriously when he started his career with Monsoon Wedding. But today, he is a force to reckon with and is widely acclaimed as a director’s actor. He will be seen in Salman Khan’s Sultan soon. Says Randeep, “When my career was taking me nowhere, I was never desperate. I wanted to do so many other things. I had one release in 2015. Now, in 2016, it is back-to-back four releases.”
We ask him whether he is Salman Khan’s blue-eyed boy, especially after Kick, and the actor laughs aloud and says, “Blue-eyed boy? No, I think he likes blue-eyed-women. I think we have a great camaraderie and it shows on screen.”
He adds, “Salman has a great sense of humour as well. In spite of being such a huge star, he makes everyone comfortable.”
About his role in Sultan, Randeep says, “Bhai called me and said, Aaja, mera coach ka role hai, maza ayega. This role is much smaller than the one I had in Kick. But I was happy to be with Salman.” Ahead of Sultan, Randeep will be seen in Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, with Kajal Aggarwal. Ask him if he is single, he says, “I am in relationship with my horses. I have got a horse named ‘Dreamgirl’. She is good, she is big and beautiful; she has got great lips and is lovely.”
