Ekta Kapoor welcomes baby boy via surrogacy, B-town celebs share best wishes

Mumbai: Popular Bollywood and TV show producer Ekta Kapoor now becomes the proud mother of a baby boy. Yes, as per the reports of Mumbai Mirror, the 43-year-old producer welcomed a baby boy via surrogacy on January 27. Reports further stated that a newborn baby is healthy and Kapoor family is all set to welcome new member anytime soon.

This pleasant news made entire Bollywood happy as many celebs have now started congratulating her on social media.

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta tweeted, "Many congratulations and lots of love dearest Ekta Kapoor. Welcome to parenthood and joy."

Ekta Kapoor's close friend filmmaker Sanjay Gupta also shared best wishes to her by tweeting, "And this is the most heartening news this morning. Many congratulations Ekta. Welcome to the world and joy of parenting. God bless your baby with good health and lots of masti".

Well, apart from Ekta, her younger brother Tusshar Kapoor too became a single parent via surrogacy and welcomed his son Laksshya in 2016. Moreover, Bollywood celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Aamir Khan and others have also become parents via IVF/Surrogacy procedure.

On the work front, Ekta Kapoor produced Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 starring Erica Fernandes, Parth Samthaan and Hina Khan is doing great on the small screen. The producer is also producing films like Dream Girl, Jabariya Jodi and so on.
