With glitzy wedding bashes in Bengaluru and Mumbai, everyone wants to know more about Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone who hosted a reception at a five star hotel in Mumbai. Deepika and Ranveer looked regal in white and gold Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and Rohit Bal outfits. The couple even obliged the media with photos with some classic poses. We also heard that when Ranveer and Deepika had arrived at the airport to leave for Bengaluru for the wedding reception hosted by the Padukone family, paparazzi referred to Deepika Padukone as ‘Bhabhiji’, which made Deepika burst into laughter. Even at the Mumbai reception, when the paps called her ‘Bhabhiji’ again, she was all smiles.
In other news doing the rounds, Ranveer is totally besotted with Deepika and apparently, had to wait a while before Deepika said yes to him, and it was also reported that Singh wanted to make their wedding everything Deepika wanted it to be... and it does look like he has left no stone unturned.
Deepika who wore a white and gold Chikankari saree by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla looked resplendent. The fact that she chose Chikan, the designers felt was perfect for Deepika. They said, “Her appreciation for finesse and elegance made it her choice too — Ivory and Gold do her and the occasion full justice. She is an absolute dream in it.” This breathtakingly beautiful Chiffon Chikankari Ensemble in ivory features a trail and is styled with a sari and sumptuous chadar as a head dupatta. Hand embroidered by the women artisans of Lucknow, the intricate, thread embroidery comes alive as millions of sequins, Swarovski crystals and gold zardozi embroidery enhance and embellish it to perfection.
The designer duo also dressed Prakash and Ujjala Padukone in chikankari and Anisha Padukone in Resham.
