Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor ventured into the film industry together with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’ in 2007. According to reports, the two were not just close friends but were also involved romantically during that time.
However, when the couple grew apart, they did not even remain friends over the years. That is one of the reasons why there were some eyebrows raised when it was reported that the two would come together again for Sanjay Dutt’s biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
And now fresh news has emerged that during a recent bash Ranbir threw at his Chembur home to celebrate the success of his recent film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, Sonam was also one of the guests along with Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra and Imran Khan and his wife Avantika. According to sources, Sonam stayed over at the bash for a long time and was seen bonding with Ranbir.
It is not clear what the discussions between Ranbir and Sonam were about, but it seems that the actors want to ensure that everything just works out well for the film.
