A permanent reminder of the Thalaivii: Kangana Ranaut

About three days ago, the actress confessed in a post on her Instagram page that all the weight she had to put on for playing J Jayalalithaa on screen has left its mark on her. And permanent ones, if one were to go by what her post says.

“Gaining 20 kgs in 6 months and loosing [sic] it all within 6 months that too in my thirties messed up many things in my body …. I also have permanent stretch marks as well but art comes to life with a price and more often than not price is the artist him/herself ??#thalaivii [sic],” the 34-year-old actress wrote.
