After Mouni Roy walked out of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Bole Chudiyan, the filmmakers were busy hunting for the leading lady again. And finally, after a long wait, Tamannaah Bhatia has come on board for this project.
Ever since the film was announced, it has been mired in controversy regarding who Nawaz will finally romance in the film. With Tamannaah on board, it would be interesting to see how this unusual pairing shapes up on the screen.
When we got in touch with Tamannaah, she excitedly states, “I’m looking forward to being a part of this project. The script fits in beautifully with the narrative. This will be the very first time, I will be attempting such a multi-layered character in a mainstream Bollywood film. What really caught my attention was the storyline of the film which is a relevant and prevalent issue that grips society at large, even today.”
Produced by Rajesh Bhatia and Kiran Bhatia and directed by Shamas Siddiqui, the shoot begins with a start to finish one schedule in Rajasthan. Nawaz who is happy to have Bhatia on board said: “I am looking forward to working with Tamannaah. I feel she is the correct and the perfect choice for this role.”
