Sushant Singh Rajput signs his next, to play an astronaut in Chandamama Door Ke

Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput has given his nod to India's first space odyssey 'Chandamama Door Ke' to be directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan.

According to reports, the story is inspired by multiple incidents that occurred in the past. It revolves around the India's space programme and culminates with the country's first astronaut that lands on the moon. Sushant will essay the role of an astronaut who is set out on a mission that brings the country together.

The team began their extensive research on the subject two years back. They have also reached out to technicians who have worked on Hollywood blockbusters like 'Star Trek', 'Armageddon' and 'Apollo 13'.

Sushant recently wrapped up shooting for M.S Dhoni biopic opposite Kiara Advani. He is also gearing up for the release of 'Raabta' which also features Kriti Sanon.
