Pictures of Madhuri Dixit from Doordashan's 1984 show resurface

Mumbai: The versatile star Madhuri Dixit has carved quite a niche for herself in Bollywood with her enchanting screen presence and powerful personality. The actress has had her own share of ups and down in the career spanning over three decades.

In an interesting turn of events, pictures of Madhuri Dixit from Doordashan’s 1984 show have resurfaced. The actress shot the pilot for a series titled ‘Bombay Hai meri’ but sadly it never aired on Television as the channel didn’t find the show and the cast ‘good enough’.

Madhuri was paired opposite noted Television actor Benjamin Gilani in the show directed by Anil Tejani, who is now an alumnus of the reputed Film and Television Institute of India (FTII).
