Exclusive: Why did Deepika Padukone miss Priyanka Chopra's party?

Priyanka Chopra is back in town and is still celebrating her Hollywood glory with gala parties. B’wood welcomed her back with open arms and celebs like Rekha, Sushmita Sen, Kangana Ranaut, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Tamannah Bhatia and many other biggies were spotted at her party. Deepika, whose name was also on the list was a no-show, a fact that didn’t go unnoticed, specially since the two have worked together closely in Bajirao Mastani.

However, it turns out that it was just a busy schedule that kept Deepika from dropping by. “Deepika has been shooting at nights for Padmavati and was even shooting at Film City on the night of the party,” a source close to the actress said. According to reports, Deepika is completely caught up with the shoot for the film as the makers are working round the clock to release the film on schedule on November 17, despite the many roadblocks the film faced since going on floors.
